No sooner had Tom Brady gotten his coveted Super Bowl LI jersey back then it was stolen again on Monday … by Gronk.
Our quick-footed tight end snatched the piece of Patriots history when he took to the field at Fenway for the Red Sox’s opening day with Brady, Dion Lewis, James White and Robert Kraft. Oh yeah, and five Lombardi trophies.
Gronk then hightailed it across the ballpark with Brady in not-so-hot pursuit.
We all know that the G.O.A.T. is not the fastest runner of all time, so we’re pretty sure Rob let him catch up, before Brady tackled him to the ground in a bear hug millions of women (and many men) would die for.
The good news is that the jersey, which was infamously stolen from the Pats locker room in Houston by a Mexican media executive, is back where it belongs.
Brady went on to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway, the Sox beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2, and a good day was had by all.
Watch Rob bob and weave across the ball park in the video below.
