Gronk Gets Sweaty and Shirtless at the Gronk Fitness Seaport Sweat Workout Event

Posted by: Gronkowski

While the Patriots braved the Florida heat to shutout the Miami Dolphins this weekend, Gronk had Bostonians sweating.

We know fans have been getting hot and bothered over No. 87 for years, but this time it came with an added calorie burn with the second installment of the Gronk Fitness Seaport Sweat event series.

Over 300 participants signed up for the sold-out event on Seaport Common in Boston on Sunday as Gronk Fitness and Boston Sports Club joined forces for a very special kind of ass-kicking workout.

Rob, big brother Gordie Jr. (above) and family friend Dan Bonato led the pack by putting the daring souls through their paces showing off the athletic skills and endurance that earned the Gronkowskis careers in the NFL and MLB, respectively.

But don’t think you have to be Super Bowl champion-strong to take part in Seaport Sweat, as all ages and levels of fitness are welcome and participants were encouraged to push their own limits without having to keep up with anyone else.

Rotating workout stations on the interval training adventure included battle ropes, jumping jacks, push-ups combos, and side planks, plus sprints on the non-motorized True From treadmills.

But of course, it wouldn’t be a Gronk Fest without a dance-off, and Rob hit the outdoor dance floor to get down and dirty with his favorite sidekick, Camille “never not dancing” Kostek.

It's safe to say that everyone present ended up dripping in sweat – with Gronk naturally stripping his shirt off.

Thankfully the boys brought a stack of their new Gronk Fitness Athletic Wipes that help you clean up after a workout, on a camping trip or even sweating at a game.

Every athletic knows that recovery is essential for optimum performance, so Gronk’s latest partner, CBDMEDIC, was on hand to ease aching muscles with massages using CBD oil. Each Seaport Sweat participant also got replenished with Protein Cookies from Chris Gronkowski’s growing business empire. The nutritious protein-packed delights are baked fresh in small batches in their original bakery in Chris’ adopted home start of Texas.

The Gronk boys stayed hydrated knocking back cold water from Gronk Fitness Edition Ice Shakers, while revolutionary shopping experience Guru Club sponsored the event.

Stayed tuned for announcements of future Seaport Sweat events, and check out Gronk Fitness for training inspiration in the meantime.
