Gronk Returns to Buffalo to Face the Bills Mafia – Will He Be Dodging Dildos Again?
Posted by: Gronkowski
On May 14, 1989, a (very) bouncing baby boy was born in Amherst, New York.
And on Sunday, Rob Gronkowski returns to the Buffalo area to take on the Bills once again.
The winter weather isn’t the only chilly reception Gronk is going to get when he hits the field in his home city to take on the AFC East rivals – he also has to face the infamous Bills Mafia.
Infamous for lighting furniture on fire, squirting condiments (or worse) on opposing fans, and basically getting utterly annihilated before, after and during games – not even a local hero like Gronk is safe.
Lest we forget that last season when the Patriots ventured to New Era Field (formerly Ralph Wilson Stadium), someone threw a dildo onto the field.Bills Mafia was ON FIRE today (get it?) pic.twitter.com/ElmeknQKeY

Yes – a dildo!
When asked about it in the press conference following the41–25 win, “I think that was for the Bills,” Rob simply stated.

As for the latest matchup, Gronk was once again grilled about the Bills Mafia this week.
“They’re wild, for sure. I grew up there. I could explain myself a little bit in my early 20s, if that makes sense. I think it does. They're wild, man. I love it though. I love that wildness,” Rob said, according to the Pats Pulpit. “That’s what I grew up in. That’s why I said it’s a fun atmosphere to go play. They’re super loud, super proud of their team. It’s a good football atmosphere, and when it’s a good football atmosphere you just love playing the game.”
Of course, the million-dollar question was: "Did you ever go through any tables like the Bills fans do during the tailgates?"
"Not at a tailgate, but I've been through tables before, for sure … Like at family get-togethers. I've definitely been, growing up, through tables."
That line prompted more questions than answers -- with even ESPN's Mike Golic, Trey Wingo and Katie Nolan debating the hot topic on new morning show "Golic and Wingo."
"Gronk and his brothers … I’ve seen them in action, they have themselves a good time,” Golic said, judging from past experience with the family.
“Gronk’s been threw some tables," he added.
Wingo thinks the "going through tables" quote came from family dinner times when they had a "feeding frenzy, if you didn't get there first, your food was gone," he said.
"They had to throw elbows just to get their meals ... I am taking your steak and I'm going to eat it raw," Wingo speculated.
