Gronk’s Message to Tom Brady: ‘Bring In Your Biscuits’

Posted by: Gronkowski

Gronk wants Tom Brady’s biscuits. And no, that is not a cheeky euphemism.

While the rest of the country was enjoying the Thanksgiving break, it was business as usual for the Patriots this week.

In Friday’s press conference, Gronk said they did get off practice “a little bit earlier than normal” on Thursday and relaxed – but as we know under Belichick’s watch, there are “no days off.”

Brady spent that extra time on Thursday baking biscuits with his daughter Vivian, which Gisele shared on Instagram in an adorable family pic.

The only problem? TB12 didn’t bring any of the leftovers to Gillette to share with his teammates.

“He’s been bragging about them today so I told him to bring them in,” Gronk told reporters when asked about the infamous biscuits, according to ESPN reporter Mike Reiss’ tweet

“He said, ‘They were so good, they were all eaten,’ so I told him to make some more.

“I’m not lying, I am dead serious, that’s what happened,” Gronk laughed. “If he doesn’t bring some in … there’s going to be some problems,” he added, turning deadly serious.

Rob missed practice on Wednesday due to “a little illness that went by quick,” but he looks back to being 169 percent fit and said it wasn't anything serious.

As for facing the Miami Dolphins this Sunday, “the biggest challenge is going out there and playing the football we need to play,” Rob told reporters. “We see them twice a year, they know us well, we know them well. You’ve got to go out there and execute football to a T.”

When asked about Brady saying that this time of year is when he really puts his foot on the accelerator, Gronk revealed that for the Pats “this is when football really starts.

"You see teams going down hill or going up hill after Thanksgiving,” he added.

As we’ve seen over the past few years, the Patriots are usually one of the teams going up hill from now on.
