Hollywood's Next Action Star? Gronk Handles Helicopters and Miniguns With Ease

Posted by: Gronkowski

It's been a thrilling week for Rob Gronkowski by anyone's standards.

While most men can only dream of appearing in an action film with some of the biggest names in Hollywood for the past 30 years, it was all in a day's work for Gronk.

Jumping out of a helicopter? Check.

Firing a minigun? Check.

Hanging with Mel Gibson, Frank Grillo, Naomi Watts and Joe Carnahan? Check.

As you should know by now, Gronk has been filming "Boss Level" in Atlanta, Georgia, for the past few days as he prepares to co-star in the upcoming science fiction-action film written and directed by Carnahan.

Star and executive producer Grillo was impressed by Gronk's performance to say the least, writing in Instagram: "When you’re making your movie and there’s a helicopter and one of the best tight ends in the history of the game. @gronk homie is as cool as he is talented."

Along with a photo of Rob hanging out of a helicopter in full combat gear ... now that's badass.

According to the logline from Grillo and Carnahan's War Party Films, "Boss Level" tells the story of a retired soldier finds himself trapped in an endless loop of the same day of his death.
