Watch Gronk Get Bruins Fans Hyped as NHL Playoffs Banner Captain

Posted by: Gronkowski

First the Red Sox then the Bruins, Gronk has proved once again that he’s a staple of Boston sports lore when he acted as banner captain before the puck was dropped at TD Garden on Saturday.

The Bruins were taking to the ice for Game 2 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Toronto Maple Leafs, which they ended up winning 4-1.

Wearing right winger David Pastrnak’s No. 88 jersey, Rob lost his mind with excitement as he waved the honorary black and gold playoff flag with Special Olympics athlete Matt Millett.

His energy is still infectious and the crowd got seriously amped up thanks to the Gronk Hype Crew (with an honorary mention to Gordie Jr. for his tag team performance).

Once the Bruins took over the action, the Gronkowski bros headed up to a private suite to watch the hockey magic.
